How do I dim a LED strip?

The great majority of the customers are always looking for a method to dim LED strips. Light dimming is becoming a more popular choice since it allows to save energy and money. So, is it possible to dim a LED strip? The answer is yes, all our LED strips are dimmable. To do it you need to install a LED controller between the LED strip and the power supply. This device can be controlled by a push switch, a remote control or a smartphone. Our range also includes smart power supplies to adjust the light brightness by using a remote control without adding any controller. There are several methods you can use for LED strips dimming:

Dimmer with remote control
In this case the controller is installed between the power supply and the LED strip and synchronized with the remote control to adjust the light brightness.

PWM and wireless wall dimmer
Wall system that directly communicates with the LED strips (PWM) or with a RF controller that must be synchronized and installed between the LED strip and the power supply.

Dimmer for push switch
This system needs a push switch to work. Press to switch your LED strips on/off with a simple touch and press and hold to adjust the brightness. This dimmer is installed between the power supply and the LED strip. It is possible to connect more push switches to the unit.

DMX dimmer
DMX controllers must be installed between the power supply and the LED strip and are controlled thtough a DMX master or console by using a DMX cable.

DALI dimmer
DALI controllers must be installed between the power supply and the LED strip and are controlled by a domotic system by using a BUS cable.

Touch dimmer for aluminium profile
Touch dimmers are installed inside the aluminium profile, covered by the diffuser and soldered with the LED strip. They allow to switch the light on/off and to adjust the brightness with a simple touch.

Dimmer for smartphone
It is possible to control the unit by a Wi-fi device. The controller must be installed between the power supply and the LED strip.

Smart power supplies
Smart power supplies are an all-in-one solution to control LED strips. These power supplies includes a controller and allow to adjust the brightness by using a remote control. In this case there is no need to install any other controller or dimmer.
