Continuous-light strips have a well-known aesthetic drawback: when off, they show the characteristic yellow phosphor line. The new WCOB series by Ledpoint solves the problem. Thanks to a white diffusing layer, the WCOB looks like a white line, even and clean, even when the strip is off, without giving up the full, dot-free light when it is on. It is the ideal solution for any exposed installation.

What WCOB (White COB) technology is

The abbreviation WCOB stands for White COB: a COB covered by a white diffusing layer applied over the phosphors. While a traditional COB reveals the yellow phosphor line, the coated COB of the WCOB series keeps a clean, light surface. The result is a white line, uniform and consistent with light-coloured profiles and furniture, both when off and when lit.

The WCOB 320 led/m series is available in three shades of white, all with CRI Ra 93 for faithful colour rendering.
